ElectriCities of North Carolina is pleased to present The Connections Summit, a public power technology event presented by ElectriCities of North Carolina. The event will take place in Raleigh February 20-22.
Hometown Connections vendor partners are invited to submit educational presentation proposals and to request information on sponsorship/exhibit opportunities. If several Hometown vendors participate, there may be an opportunity to organize the displays within a Hometown section.

The Connections Summit

The Connections Summit presented by ElectriCities of North Carolina will bring together public utility and municipal professionals across the Southeast to share best practices, solutions, and ideas that highlight how new technologies are impacting the customer and community experience lifecycle.
Professionals from IT, utility operations, finance, human resources, business planning, customer service & other employees throughout the utility are invited to join and collaborate.
Conference tracks will cover a range of topics from Billing and Payments to Utility Operations including:
- New technology trends in municipal utilities
- Managing through change
- Enhancing the customer experience and workforce productivity with distribution and enterprise technologies
Nearly all ElectriCities members operate electric and water utilities, with several offering gas service as well. The members serve from 200 to 85,000 customers, and average member size is approximately 5,000-10,000 customers. ElecriCitiies is marketing The Connection Summit to all if its 90 members, as well as to other JAAs and their members such as PMPA and ECG. They anticipate 200-250 attendees.

Be a part of this collaborative event! You are invited to submit a presentation proposal for a breakout session or roundtable discussion that addresses important issues facing today’s utility and technical challenges. Watch your email and the ElectriCities website for additional information coming in September 2018. Attendee and sponsor registration will be open to public utilities including electric, water and gas systems, as well as to vendor partners serving this audience.
