ElectSolve Commissions New Meter Data Management System for City of Burnet Texas

October 18, 2017

ElectSolve, the leading provider of Meter Data Management (MDM) systems for utilities, has commissioned a new system for the City of Burnet, Texas.

City of Burnet, located 50 miles northwest of Austin, supplies water and electricity to approximately 6,300 residents. They are members of the Texas Public Power Association and the American Public Power Association.

The new system features ElectSolve’s flagship product, uCentra™ Operational Data Management System (ODMS), a proven, vendor-neutral, next generation data management and integration platform for managing and integrating utility data. The project included integration with the City’s customer information system and Honeywell Elster Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).

“Meter Data Management (MDM) is critical for utilities with AMI,” states Mike Bowdle, VP Sales and Marketing, ElectSolve. “The MDM enables the Customer Service Representative (CSR) central access to all customer account and usage information. This helps the CSR quickly resolve usage issues and empowers them to help customers understand their electric and water usage patterns.”
