The Hometown Connections Winter Meeting 2019 is set for Wednesday, January 23 (all day) and Thursday, January 24 (morning only) at the Table Mountain Inn in Golden, CO. Please use the information below to reserve your hotel room and register for the meeting.

For a Traditional Room at the Table Mountain Inn, the Hometown Connections rate is $139 per night. For a Grand Room, the rate is $154 per night.

To reserve your room at the Table Mountain Inn, visit this DIRECT link. The Online Booking Code is HC2019. Note: the booking code must be entered in ALL CAPS for the system to recognize it. Place the code HC2019 into the “ACCESS CODE/IATA” box and hit the “search for availability” and the rooms options that are available will populate.

  • Go to – http://www.tablemountaininn.com/
  • On the top right of our page – choose the applicable arrival date & departure date – then hit the BOOK NOW button.
  • On the next page – the available room types for the specified dates will populate.
  • On the top-center of the page, there will be a drop-down box labeled Add Code, that is where the Online Group Code HC2019 will need to be entered, click ADD, and the rates will update to reflect the correct Group rate.

To book by phone, contact the hotel Front Desk at 303.277.9898 x1 and ask for the Hometown Connections Winter Meeting 2019 room block and use the exact wording. From there our reservations team will be able to get the reservation entered into the system.

The cut-off date for the Hometown Connections group rate is 12/30/18. Reservations made after 12:00 AM on 12/30/18 will be accommodated on a space available basis, at prevailing rates.

During the Hometown Connections Winter Meeting, Hometown staff and representatives from affiliated state associations/joint action agencies will review planning for the year ahead. The group will discuss new developments regarding the organization, our products/services, and planning for the 2019 branding/marketing campaign.

  • Does our existing business model allow us to grow in directions that continue to add value to public power while firming up revenue streams? Examples:
    • Exclusivity of partners within functional areas (e.g. Cogsdale in CIS)
    • Developing other HCI managed/hosted programs, similar to AMI Program
    • Expanding and marketing to non-public power public utilities, such as water and/or gas
    • Expanding into the cooperative market
    • How is Hometown Connections perceived within the public power community?
    • What are our perceived strengths? Weaknesses?
    • What should be the mission and vision of Hometown Connections?
    • How does public power get its information: marketing media, word of mouth, etc.?
    • What is our biggest ‘bang for the buck’ in establishing Hometown Connections as a resource to public utilities?
