To help community-owned utilities design their COVID-19 response, GreatBlue Research has developed a low-cost digital research solution to effectively and efficiently gather insights directly from customers.
Low-Cost Digital Survey
The primary objective of this research is to help utilities quickly understand the needs and concerns of their customers and how the organization can best serve them. GreatBlue has developed a brief, 15-question digital survey to gather this information. The questions are action-oriented and applicable to utilities of all sizes and service offerings.
GreatBlue recognizes that in the heat of the COVID-19 crisis, utility priorities are changing rapidly. This research can be conducted now if the data is critical and urgent or during the aftermath of the crisis, to assess how well the utility reacted.
Goals and Results
The overall goal of this study is to put the utility in contact with customers and quickly gauge their needs during these troubling times. To accomplish this, survey topics will include but are not limited to:
- What are your main concerns regarding your utility service?
- What can your utility do to ease any burdens you are experiencing as a result of COVID-19?
- What immediate needs are required from your utility in the short term, and potentially
- the long term?
- How satisfied are you with your utility’s overall response to COVID-19?
- What can your utility do to make your life easier during this time?
Utilities will view data and results in real-time and at the conclusion of the study. GreatBlue will provide an automated report and data file containing customer responses as well as supplied customer contact information.
